- Brief Description of Project: Construction of approximately 6,849 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water line, including the removal/abandonment of approximately 2,392 linear foot of existing 2-inch and 4-inch water line, reconnection of service taps, and installation of new fire hydrants along Yorkshire Drive to the District’s elevated storage tank site.
- Brief Listing of Water Quality Benefits: This project is being constructed to reduce/eliminate pressure drop issues due to the amount of service connections on the existing dead end 2-inch and 4-inch water lines along Yorkshire Drive. The new 8-inch water line also allows this project to provide a redundancy loop to this area of the District’s distribution system.
